The Khinkali Cup

The Caucasus
on your own terms.

About 16 teams, each behind the wheel of a Toyota 4Runner, set loose across the untamed lands and mountains of Georgia. From ancient monasteries to off-road trails carved by goats alone.

No set route. No hand-holding. Just you, your crew, your 4Runner, and the brutal beauty of the Caucasus. Roads that forgot they were roads, villages where time stands still, and shots of cha-cha until sunrise.

The details.

The Khinkali Cup starts in Kutaisi and finishes in Tbilisi. Everything in between is up to you. No fixed route — only one mandatory checkpoint on Day 4 where all teams regroup. Whether you chase the high passes of Tusheti or the wine valleys of Kakheti, the road is yours to conquer.
Not a race. Challenges include cooking the perfect khinkali at 3,500m altitude and sharing shots of chacha with shepherds. The team with the most points wins eternal bragging rights and The Cup. Full challenge list only revealed at the launch event.
We provide ground tents, but it's up to you and your team to choose your spots. Georgia is wild-camp friendly and bursting with epic views. Guesthouses and lodges are also available if you want a break from sleeping under the stars.
Your normal driving licence will do for Georgia.
Yes — one of the safest countries in the region. Locals are hospitable, crime is low, and you're more likely to get offered wine than trouble. Still, don't be dumb.
Georgia is super budget-friendly. Expect ~€25/day for food and accommodation, ~€10/day for fuel. So €35/day per person is a good estimate.
Generally no — as long as your passport has 6+ months of validity. Requirements may vary by country of origin, so check in advance.
