Namibia doesn't care
if you make it back.

Each crew behind the wheel of a battle-tested Toyota Hilux, rooftop tents strapped on top and questionable confidence packed inside.

Expect endless plains, roads that turn into riverbeds, and campfires under skies so big they'll make your problems look tiny. Great stories. Massive horns. Zero regrets.

Everything you need to know

The details.

The Rhino Cup kicks off and wraps up in Windhoek. You're free to roam, provided you hit the three tactical checkpoints. This ensures you catch all the breathtaking spots and keeps you from wandering into Angola.
Not a race. Challenges include spotting wild Rhinos, reaching secluded tribes, and climbing sky-high dunes. Full challenge list revealed only at the launch event.
An International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory for Namibia. One per participant — one per team won't cut it.
Namibia is increasingly popular and safe for tourists. Wildlife can be a threat — stay in your vehicle in national parks with windows up. Do not wander off on foot.
Absolutely — mandatory. Coverage for renting and driving in Namibia is required. We recommend Europ Assistance (~€100 per person).
Yes — can be purchased on arrival at the airport for approximately €80. Requirements vary by country of origin.
